Upcoming Album SK1N3Rz B0x

SK1N3Rz B0x is an album inspired by B.F. Skinner’s psychological experiments, particularly the concept of conditioning and control. It explores the parallels between his experiments and modern-day experiences with technology, surveillance, and mind control. The album plays with the idea that we are living in a kind of digital Skinner’s Box, where our thoughts and behaviors are manipulated by algorithms, apps, and unseen forces, including the darker aspects of simulation theory.

Through short, glitchy, electronic tracks, the album reflects the fragmented attention spans and over-stimulation of today’s world, mirroring how easily we are conditioned by the devices we use. The music itself, created on a music app, embraces lo-fi, raw production to represent the state of modern music—fast, underproduced, and over-consumed.

At its core, Skinner’s Box is a commentary on control, both external and internal, weaving in themes from my own experience of hearing voices and questioning whether they stem from psychosis, technological interference (V2k), or manipulation within a larger simulated reality. The album asks: Are we really in control of our own thoughts and actions, or are we just conditioned puppets, responding to stimuli in a predetermined environment?
