About the Sound

Each track was created using a music app, giving it a minimalist, almost “cheap” sound that matches the album’s theme of superficial tech-fueled reality. From spontaneous mistakes left in to the unsettling simplicity of the tracks, Sk1n3rz BOx is as much a rebellion against today’s overproduced music as it is an exploration of control.
Themes & Inspiration
This album is personal. It merges themes of Skinner’s experiments on behavior with the surreal experiences of hearing voices—whether from psychosis, V2k, or what might be “handlers” in a simulated reality.
